Question:

Okay my story has magic in it!. There are different types of magic: Fire, earth, water, air, mind, light, and dark!. Each of these has different powers!. Some abilities I have are:

Light| cast light, healing
Dark| cast darkness, summon spirits
Mind| telepathy, telekinesis, read/control minds, mild precognition (I know it seems pretty superior to the others, but mind mages are very rare)
Air| control wind, lightning, control weather to some extent
Fire| control/make fire, breathe fire, flaming weapons
Water| control water and ice, breathing underwater
Earth| summon/speak to animals

I need more abilities and don't really have anyone to brainstorm with!. Any and all ideas are appreciated :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Air - perhaps some sort of shield or forcefield!?
Light - ability to purify things, to some extent (drinking water!?)
Earth - Plant control/growth!? Earthquakes!?
Water - ability to walk on water (be careful with that one, it could get offensive)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't you think that adding too many elements would make the story convoluted and confuse your readers!?
