Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No, I dont think that'll really happen!. I think that people go over the top when writing scifi, and why not!? You get to decide what you think the future will be!. If it's scary, which they generally are, then you've got a pretty cool idea!. However, I just have too much faith in humanity to believe that Westerfield's future will happen!. There's people like me who wouldnt want that to happen!. Get plastic surgery at 16!? NO!. Communist society!? NO!. I believe that the world will get better, not worse!. Maybe people will get lots of plastic surgery in the future, but i dont think many of us will want to give up our humanity that easily!. Personally, I'm not going down without a fight, and I mean WAR!. No one's gonna catch me long enough to inject those lesions into my brain, and if they did, I'd most definitely become Tricky!. Even tricky, I think my humanity would break through!. Www@QuestionHome@Com no i don't think our future could really happen that way!. can you imagine the average person being turned into a pretty!? I guess anything could happen!. But it wouldn't happen until we get global warming under control!. Until we know that we won't destroy our planet nothing like this will happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com My favorite character was Shay!. She starts off sort of innocent, and then introduces Tally to the idea of the Smoke, and then she forms the Cutters, to give her that edgy feeling!. She was used to her full potential in the story and I really enjoyed it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Hey! I love those books! They are one of my favorite series! I don't know!.
