Question: What are really good WWII fiction books for a college-level reader!?
I'm reading "Dream When You're Feeling Blue" by Elizabeth Berg right now, and don't want to stop! I've been searching and searching but haven't come across any others that look good!. Anyone here have any suggestions!? (Oh, and nonfiction, too, but I really prefer fiction!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

You would probably really like Gone To Soldiers by Marge Piercy!. Another great one, though intense, is A Thread Of Grace by Mary Doria Russell!. Look into Leon Uris's books too, especially Mila 18!. Read Studs Terkel's oral history entitled The Good War, if you are interested in hearing the voices of real people who lived through it!.

I'm sorry, I know I'm forgetting a ton of good stuff, but I just can't think of it!. If I do I'll edit!. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy some of these!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
