How long should a book be.?

Question: How long should a book be!.!?

I will write a book about a sort of made up world!. Its sci fi and I still didnt start realy!. Just thought alot about it!. So how many pages do you have the capacity to read!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

but if you're aiming for a specific target audience!. that might dictate how long your chapters are as opposed to how long the book should be!.

look at the harry potter books!. they're what!? 700+ pages long some of them so there's no hard and fast rule!.

Your story should be as long as you want it to be!. This is a question that was created that shouldn't really be a question!. Once you felt like you've told your whole story, and you have a sense of completion, then you know you are truly done!. If you continue without will, your writing will appear to be 'forced'!. For both chapters and stories, just continue until you feel like you've gotten everything you wanted to into the story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How long a novel is is entirely up to the author!. Some people have long, detailed plans and make a 1,037 page book while a short 100 can be more touching and detailed!. Whatever the genre and whatever you want!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Brown wrote great stories in half a page!. Asimov wrote great stories in 6 long books each!.
