Edward is fictional!. Boys are human beings!. They make mistakes!. They mess up!. But they have feelings, too!. They laugh, they love, they cry, they get angry, they sympathize, they have compassion!. To expect a male to be like Edward is simply outrageous and completely stupid!.

You're a child, a little girl, and I don't care what age you tell me you are, because if you had any ounce of maturity, you wouldn't be asking this question!. Boys your age are childish and immature!. Edward is 17!. Boys actually start to grow a pair at that age!.

My boyfriend is amazing!. He is just as protective as Edward, but yet is not overly protective like Edward!. He doesn't expect me to lie to my parents like Edward does!.

My boyfriend treats me how I want to be treated!. Sure, we get in a few squabbles, but at least we're mature enough to work them out!. We don't let stupid little things break us apart!. Our relationship is based on pure love, unlike Edward and Bella's, which is based on mere attraction!.

So, basically, you're insulting my boyfriend, and every other girl out there who has every experienced an amazing relationship!. You're also insulting your own father!.

Because most guys aren't abusive stalkers who have no respect for people's personal space, people's personal decisions, and people's property!.

Boys are not like Edward because they aren't stupid enough to say cheesy things like Edward does!. Boys are not like Edward because most of them understand that their girlfriend is an independent human being who should be able to stand on her own two feet!. Boys are not like Edward because they are REAL!. They make mistakes, but they also can make good decisions!. They can be mean, but they can be kind!. They are human!.

Boys aren't like Edward!. Get over it!. People make mistakes, relationships aren't always picture perfect, and faults are what make life interesting!. If we all had the "perfect boy", life would be dull!.

Wanting a boy to be like Edward, who I assume you think is "perfect" (or your "perfect guy) is unfair, because you'll never get it!. It's unfair to want, expect, or desire perfection from anyone, and if you do, you'll end up disappointed or hurt in the end!. The world is full of Jacobs, not Edwards!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
