The books are great! They are very funny and entertaining reads!. So far the show has been true to the plot: vampires have "come out of the coffin!." By some people this has been well-received, while others fear and hate them!. Sookie is a waitress in a small-town Louisiana bar who can read thoughts!. When the first vampire shows up in town, they fall in love!.

The books are actually called "Southern Vampire Mysteries," so they have a bit of it all: mystery, romance, humor and horror!. I think you would like them!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love the Sookie Stakehouse series books!. I can't wait until the new one comes out in January!. Sookie is a telepath !. There are supernatural people like vampires, werewolfs and other supernatual people that most people have no clue about yet!. I would really recommend the books to anyone!. yes!. i just read it!. It's really good!. It is about this girl who can read minds and a vampire (Bill) and their love!. also people who likes vampires are dying so Sookie might be in danger!.!.
