HELL YEAH !!!
The first 2 maybe might not be that exciting for you but you need them to goet the full story and all its wonderful depths!.

When you get to the last 2 books, youll have trouble putting them down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, it's so intricate! Details from the first book end up having significance in books later on, the planning and plot of the story is fantastic and the characters are very realistic (even to the point of annoyance!)!. I suggest you read the series, the first was obviously written as a children's book but the last couple are aimed more at young readers and adults (there are some mature themes that children may not be able to handle)!. Not really

Unless you're fascinated by kids who do magic, boarding schools, or are nostalgic for your own days as a genius wizard kid!.

Then again, whatever pap floats your boat!. Everyone who reads has some sort of sweet tooth they satisfy on occasion!. I just figure by 20, you're ready to read something with a little meat to it, some sex & death, maybe something with some decent writing and an occasional idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, it depends on what gets your attention, but I know a LOT of adults ranging from 18 to over 40 who have loved the books!.
I personally would recommend it (I'm 19), but since different stories work for different people, I'd recommend borrowing the first book from a library so that you can test the waters without putting in any money right away!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't have thought so, but after finishing the series, it's actually pretty mature!. The characters do transform, and the plot does get denser as it goes on!. It's definitely not a children's book anymore by the time it reaches the fifth book!. By then it's filled with many adult issues like government corruption, war, and discrimination!.
So yeah!. Go for it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm 18!.!.!.I read the first book but it was very boring!. I could not continue!. It's not the age because I did enjoy The Neverending Story and A Little Princess!.!.!.!.they are far superior novels for children and those young at heart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure!. It'll definitely keep your attention!. If the first few are a bit too kiddie for you, you can read the later ones!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'll keep reading it till the day I die, JK, I never read a Harry Potter book before cause they don't sell it here but I'd read it even if I was 30 years oldWww@QuestionHome@Com
