Question: Any book recommendations!?
I am a thirteen year old girl!. I'm a pretty good reader!. I don't want an 'okay' book!. I want an A M A Z I N G book, suspenseful, and not a book about stupid blondes (or brunettes and redheads!.!. Or black hair!) I read the Twilight saga already, so I know you want to suggest that!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Kay, here are some good ones!

The Uglies Series: Tally Youngblood can't wait to turn 16! Not for her license, but because she gets to turn pretty!. In Tally's world, when you're 16, you get a super high-tech operation that makes you pretty!. After that, your only job is to look hot, and have fun!. But Tally meets Shay, a girl exactly her age!. And Shay isn't sure she wants to be pretty!.!.!.!. When Shay runs away, the authorities give Tally one choice; Find Shay and bring her back, or never turn pretty at ALL!!!

Elsewhere:
Liz is dead!. That's right, dead!. She goes to Elsewhere, just like every other person who's ever died!. In Elsewhere, you age backwards until you're a baby, and get sent back to earth!.
K, it sounds weird but it's AMAZING!!

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac:
Naomi falls down the front steps of her school!. She hits her head!. She can't remember anything from the past 4 years; not her boyfriend, not her best friend, not even her parent's divorce!. Now, she has to figure out who she was, or who she IS!.
AMAZING!!!

The Gemma Doyle Trilogy:
Gemma has just moved from her beloved India, to England (to go to school)!. Her mother is dead, and soon, Gemma starts having visions of the future!.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants:
4 girls, one pair of pants!. It fits them all, and keeps them together!.
BEAUTIFUL!!!

If you haven't read it already, Harry Potter!. It's SO DAMN GOOD!!

KAY, well, these are 3 series that are a bit 'shallow' I guess, but they are still good!.

Gossip Girl:
Welcome to the upper east side (of NYC)!. And welcome to the scandal-filled world of Gossip Girl!. She updates her website all the time, all about her friends from the UES, where they live, party, drink, go to school, and sleep-sometimes with each other!.

The Private Series:
Reed gets a scholarship to the exclusive boarding school of her dreams: Easton Academy!. She gets to live in Billings Hall, where all the girls are rich, popular, and powerful!. Reed quickly gets tangled into webs of scandel, love, deceit and power!. How far is she willing to go to get to the top!?

The Clique Series:
Claire Lyons and her family move into the guest house on the Block Estate!. The Blocks are rich, and fabulous, espicially their daughter, Massie!. Massie is Claire's age, and she and her 3 BFFs rule the school!. Claire desperately wants 'in' but Massie is willing to do anything to keep her 'out'!. With a little luck, and a lot of scheming, will Claire come up on top!?

KAY, so those are the shallowish books!. Here are some more non-shallow ones:

The Shopaholic Series:
Becky Bloomwood is a financial journalist at Successful Savings Magazine!. That's right, she tells people how to sort out their finances, and budget their lives!. The scandel!? Becky has no idea how to budget, or sort herself out! She's addicted to shopping!.
Really funny, and cute!!!! (Honestly, it's not shallow!. It's just funny!!!)

Maximum Ride
Max and her family (well, friends) were created by evil scientists!. They are 98% human, 2% bird!. But you'd be surprised at how much 2% really is!. They were raised at the 'School', in cages!. Now, they're on the run!. Can they survive, and can you keep up!?

Crank:
15-year-old narrator Kristina reveals how she became addicted to crank, and how the stimulant turned her from straight-A student to drug addict!. On a court-ordered visit to see her slimy and long-absent dad, she meets Adam!. Soon, Adam introduces her to 'the monster' (there, she also unleashes a new personality, Bree)!. Her addiction grows, as does Bree's control over her!. Her life changes quickly: Soon she's dating two guys, both of whom use crank; can't keep up with school, and loses her old friends!.
The sequel is Glass

Burned:
Burned is about a girl named Pattyn, who is living with a religous, yet abusive family!.It all started with a dream, nothing special!. Just a typical fantasydream about a boy, but Pattyn doesn't know if this is exceptional and she thinks what she is dreaming is wrong!.
Having this dream may not be a sin, but to her family it is one more step to Hell!. But this time it's not a dream, it's a real boy and they get into real trouble!.Until her father catches her with the boy doing "stuff"
she ends up getting suspended, and sent to live with her Aunt that she barely knows!.
Really Good!!!

K, well I hope this helps!
Happy Reading
P!.S!. I love Twilight, too!
