You could have a car accident or a near miss!. Nothing drastic but visual!. 'Sam and Eddie rode their bikes at top speed, considering the bikes were made from the parts of other bikes!. When you were in a family of six you made due and the Conners were no different!. Sam arrived first the older of the two and saw Mr!. Nelson's car pushed up near the fire hydrant!. Mr!. Nelson's Chevy was old and always reminded the boys of a hearse but considering Mr!. Wally Nelson was probably just as old he probably caused the minor accident because he wasn't wearing his glasses again!. Franny Mcdermott came out of Franny's Fancy Mane the hair salon at the end of the block followed by Widow Skerrit, Mrs!. Hayden the second grade teacher, Mrs!. Eddie, Mr!. Eddie's wife who ran the butcher shop and Church lady White!. All of them clucking, gasping and shuffling toward the car when the fire hydrant began shooting water!.
The postman Fred, Danny the paperboy, the Reverand and Mike the barber all came out of his shop!. Joe the candy store owner with his round face and balding head waddled his weight as fast as he could on his one bad leg from the war, "Danny run down and get Harmon and the boys tell um we need the hydrant closed!. You Connor boys, one of you go get Myrtle and have her bring her medical bag, he don't look bad!." Joe said helping Mr!. Nelson out of the car with Fred and Mike, "You Sam go find Pete and have him come tow the car back to the garage!. And somebody call Officer Rispoli he hates being the last to know!."
Just like any other day on a quiet street in a small town everyone gawked at the one bit of excitement that might strike this month little did they know somebody was watching them all!.

You could have your characters all get involved in something dramatic that happened where ever they are!.!.!. or you could have it where they just start talking to one another and have them say their name and have flash back or something to tell a little about themselvesWww@QuestionHome@Com

A technique I've seen in novels is to write short, descriptive chapters or vignettes!. You could separate them in your story by using spaces and subtitles!. Sounds like it will be a fun story!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
