Question: Nightwood or A Confederacy of Dunces!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I plan on reading both books, but I want to know which one you think I should read first!. I recently finished The Bell Jar - actually I finished it a while ago, but whatever!.

Confederacy of Dunces is hilarious!. Highly recommend it!.

What's ironic is that the the story surrounding its publication is so very sad!. The author committed suicide because he could not get it published!. His mother later found the manuscript and managed to get the book published!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A Confederacy of Dunces was a little wierd when I was reading it (a little disturbing at some points) but it was a hilarious satire! It may not seem funny at some points, but it's the minor characters and Ignatius's conspiracy theories that give the book the humor!. (sorry if that was confusing)
