Raistalin's cough....?

Question: Raistalin's cough!.!.!.!.!?

okay in the dragonlance books raist coughs a lot and usually says there is blood on his hanky!.!.!.what kind of sickness would do that without killing him!?

oh yeah and what is your favorite Raist part!?
mine is where he actually has feelings for Bupu both in The first dragonlance book and then in Time of the Twins!. Made me sad on that one :(Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's quite a long time since I read and enjoyed the books, but I believe Raistlin's cough came from his wizard's Test!. They were very dangerous - and that's how he got his hourglass eyes, too!. I think! Otherwise, an equivalent disease might be TB, which used to be a killer!. Characterised by coughing up blood!.

I also liked his humanity in his feelings for Bupu!. I can't remember if Raistlin came into it, but I enjoyed the rehabilitation of Caramon!.
