The Thirty Nine Steps by John Buchan
Girl With a Pen The Story of Charlotte Bronte by Elizabeth Kyle
The Girl Who Married a Lion by Alexander McCall Smith
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Flying Under Bridges by Sandi Toksvig
An Offer You Can't Refuse by Jill Mansell
Wish You Were Here by Mike Gayle
The Sleeping Doll by Jeffery Deaver
No Time to Say Goodbye by Linwood Barclay

Wow, you ended up with quite a few books!.
I have read The Sleeping Doll which i thought was good and well written but i also think it was a bit slow in parts!.
I also read Old Boyfriends and i thought it was great, i would recommend it as well!.
I have heard Lock and Key is good although i haven't read it personally!.
I don't know much about the others sorry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Take No time to say Goodbye for the night shift, you wont want to put it down!! As for the others, havent read all of them, but Wish you were here I thought was a very good book, nice story!. The sleeping doll was interesting, although I prefered some of Jeffrey Deaver's other books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really liked The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie!.

After you read the book, look for the move!.!.!.

Maggie Smith plays Jean Brodie, a teacher in an all girls school in England!. Her teaching ways are unconventional!. I loved the movie!.

You're taking these on the night shift!? Do they provide a cot!?

The only thing you left out is a spoon to gouge your eyes out with!

Seriously, though, Deaver is pretty good!. He's no Sandford, but he's readable!. I'd start there!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sandi Toksvig is a british comedienne who's on a lot of panel shows on BBC radio!. Jill Mansell writes a lot of girly sexy books about dating and relationships and family!. Those two caught my eye!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The thirty nine steps is really good!. The film is good also! :) But I have never heard of the others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I haven't actually read any but if you go into town again soon, a must read book is "Friends like These!" by Danny Wallace!. I just finished reading it and I couldn't put it down!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've only read The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, but it's really good!. It's about this teacher who tells her pupils all about her private life, and things she probably shouldn't tell them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
