Flowers in the attic: by VC Andrews and the book following the series: Petals on the wind!.
Petals on the wind made me cry the most, because it is SUCH a tragic book!. If your up to reading a book that is very depressing, then you should read it!. It is very good!. It was the #1 new york times best selling book when it first came out!.

also, How do I love thee!? By lulene Mcdaniel!. It's a story of three people who have cancer and it's such a beautiful and touching book having to do with loving someone and having to let them go!. I would definitey recommend this book!.

Nicholas Sparks is also a very good author!. He writes tragic romances!. You might have heard of his book The Notebook, and also A walk to remember!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only book that ever came close to making me sad was "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer (sp!?)!. He wrote "Everything is Illuminated!." It's a quirky book about a little boy whose dad died in 9/11!. He used to give his son scavenger hunts to go on, and when the little boy finds a mysterious key in his dad's clothing he thinks his dad might intend for one last hunt!. (The main reason it was rough was because I have a soft spot for old ladies, and part of the story is told from the point of view of his grandma!.)

Oh, I read a book called "Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio" when I was in fifth grade!. That was pretty rough also!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read Immortal by Traci L!. Slatton a few months ago, and I'm still not sure if it was happier than sad, or the other way around!. I cried like an idiot when I was done, though!.
Call me silly, but I cried a lot during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!. I got so attached to some of them, and then!.!.!. then!.!.!.!.
To date, those books have made me cry the most!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
