Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I do like a lot of really old novels, but I don't recall ever reading the three authors you mentioned!. (It's possible I read one or more of them years ago without making a note of their names!.)

Most of the classics, which I love, were written in the 1700s, 1800s, early 1900s!. Some even before that!. However, there are some whose names have faded into the mists of time, but I enjoy their books when I come across them!. Some who aren't as well known today include people like Margaret Sidney, Eleanor H!. Porter and Kate Douglas Wiggin!. They all wrote books which were very enjoyable to read!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well!.!.!. I like Josephine Tey and Anya Seton and HP Lovecraft!. All kinda dated authors (you can tell from their writing-styles) but really good :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Oh, most certainly!. Depends on your definition of "old" but one of my favourite books is The Count of Monte Cristo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
