What is a good book to read in one day?

Question: What is a good book to read in one day!?

I need a book grade level:9th grade and I was wondering if you think I will be able to finish it in like 2-3 hours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You would definitely be able to finish Marley & Me by John Grogan in 2 to 3 hours!. It was a great book that makes you laugh and then cry!.

I think you would be able to read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie in one day!. It is an excellent mystery!.

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett is another lovely classic which you could finish in one day!. Black Beauty by Anna Sewell and Heidi by Johanna Spyri could be done, too!.

The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is my favorite Sherlock Holmes story, and it could definitely be read in a few hours!.

The Blue Castle or A Tangled Web, both by Lucy Maud Montgomery (of Anne of Green Gables fame), are two of her adult books!. They are both excellent and could be read in a few hours!.

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and A Long Fatal Love Chase by Louisa May Alcott are two Gothic works, each of which can be read in a day!.

The Ivy Tree by Mary Stewart is an excellent romantic suspense novel which could be read in a few hours!.

Both quick reads, but maybe not quite what you're looking for!.!.!.just the 1st things that popped into my head!.

They're right about Jonathan Livingston Seagull, but you'll be hard-pressed to pass it off as a novel!. It won't take you anywhere near 3 hours!.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach==a beautiful book about a seagull who loved flying not to eat fish but just to fly!. Lovely book!. Oldie but goodie!.

also, try reading John Powers who is witty and funny!.

George R R Martin's The Ice Dragon!. If you are unfamiliar he is a gritty, dark, and somber author who took this stab at a children's book after revamping a short story of his from the 70's!. Its substantial but fairly short and you could kill it in an hour or so!. Maybe more, but not by much!. And its not childish lame, but not weird!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
