Yes, I did like that book!. I liked the idea of kids having to assume adult roles in their own community, even the negative ones!. Roles, not kids!. I was really impressed with the details in the book!. Most JF or YA authors just gloss over the scene when their characters get injured, but I could always almost feel it myself when the title character got shot!. NOT THE ENDING!.!.!.!.!.All these kids had a great deal of inner strength not to fall apart when this happened!. Albeit, some of them used that for less than satisfactory ends, but they were all survivors!. This is one of the few newer JF/YA books that I read repeatedly; I guess because it's such a novel concept!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i read that book!. it was fairly good!. i love the idea of kids ruling the city!. but not the idea of people dying at age 14Www@QuestionHome@Com
