I generally buy books from Amazon!.com, because they have a fabulous selection and good prices!. I also have never had any problem getting the correct items from them, in a short time!. One time I ordered a duplicate of a book I owned - so it was entirely my fault - and they didn't have a problem giving me a refund!.

I also have purchased hard-to-find or out-of-print books through http://www!.abebooks!.com/ ABE!. You can usually find everything for which you are looking!.

I have bought some Christian books from http://www!.christianbook!.com/ CBD, some rather unique books from http://www!.basbleu!.com/ Bas Bleu and some relatively cheap books from http://store!.doverpublications!.com/ Dover!. For special, leather bound books, I have purchased through http://www!.eastonpress!.com/intro2!.asp Easton Press!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Amazon!. I've tried eBay and cost may sometimes be lower but you can never count on the shipping time or the condition of your item!. I once purchased a book from eBay from a seller about 5 hours drive-time from me, paid for the express shipping and left them a note when I PayPal'd them that I needed the book by a specific date!.!.!.

The book arrived 16 days later!. When it would have literally takes 1 day to ship the thing (especially with the higher shipping amount paid) and this Seller mailed the book about 7 days after I purchased and paid for the item--and then they shipped it book rate, which took days! I could have driven to their home and back 10 times!

And oh, the book was gross when I finally received it!. Someone had written on pages, left dirty smudges and used it as a coaster!.

Now I only use Amazon b/c at least I know when I'll receive the item and in what condition it will arrive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

half!.com, because they are cheap!. You can get a hard cover for a fe bucks delivered, plus it's Ebay/paypal, so the sellers are rated and you can get a refund if they try to scam you, though I've never had a bad experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depending on what I want, most of my books from Amazon!.com because the prices are usually good for newer books and shipping is always very fast, though I have bought from ebay, Strand books andWww@QuestionHome@Com
