Please be honest, and let me know what I should change, my writing style, my punctuation etc etc:Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well, its not twilight but i really liked it!. instead of making it a fanfiction i reckon you should change the names and write it as a separate story, one maybe publishable!. don't be afraid to leave the other characters behind you can still base the new characters on them!. I agree it does sound a little devil wears prada 'ish' and Bella isnt really herself - big problem - She hates anything to do with clothes!. I love the way you have done the two points of view thing but maybe not so often and try not to overlap the stories so much as it might get a bit boring hereing the same scenes over again throughout the whole book - even in different perspectives!. I would love to read this book if it wasnt an 'edward' - 'bella' book!. It has a different voice/ theme to twilight!. Good luck!!! x x xWww@QuestionHome@Com I just read a little bit of the beginning, but I have a couple of things: 1) You seem to have a good writing style, a good voice!. 2) Be careful-you don't want to make it seem too much like The Devil Wears Prada! 3) I assume you want your story to have authenticity, right!? Well, I'm from New York City, and I'm pretty darn sure there is NO place anywhere in the city called 5th and Main!. I think if you're gonna start dropping place names and stuff, you should do research and get the real street names of the city!.!.!.you could say she was standing on the corner of 5th Ave and 56th St, for example!.
