George and Lennie want to own their own land, without constantly having to work for someone else and not having money to save!. Lennie really wants rabbits to look after!. George, along with new friend Candy, want to have the freedom to do there own work and be treated fairly!.

Although this all sounds great, there's a bit of ambiguity about whether or not George actually thinks the dream is possible, or whether he just keeps telling Lennie the story to keep him happy!. Regardless, the dream!.!.!.!.well, I won't spoil the ending!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They dream of owning their own ranch that would have chickens, cows, pigs, dogs, etc, and a special area to keep rabbits, which Lennie loves, because their fur is soft!.
