i read this book my junior year of high school and i really liked it!. although i had a great english teacher that read it out loud to the class and used a different voice for each character, which made the book much more exciting I'm sure!. the is a movie too and the movie was pretty good!. you should ask your teacher to watch it when the class is done with the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't called a classic for no reason!. Like John Steinbecks other novels its so descriptive with a lot of beautifully written symbolism in it!. I think its my fav of Steinbecks!. You can actually picture the people and the events that happen the way he writes!. It is very sad in parts but it gets you thinking, without being too difficult to read!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah I've read it!. I thought it was alright!.!.!.It's themes are really interesting though!. It's considered a classic because its indictitive of the times!.!.!.but it's harder to understand the bleak world in which its set in the 21st century, and we can only imagine!.

Ps - note to "einstein" [note the quotation], my question about Oliver Twist was not "off track" as it is an essay question, and I have read several responses to it [not on yahoo answers mind you], all of which are relative!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
