Question: Good books set in the 1920-30s!?

For some reason(after watching a very good episode of Cold Case)I have become intrigued by the 1920s and 30s!. Does anyone know of any fiction books that are set in that time period!. I really like love stories and stories about friendship!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Definitely the Great Gatsby!. I have never read this book but, I have been told it is excellent!. Scott Fitzgerald wrote it!. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is good!. Ernest Hemmingway books are good too!. The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter is good too!. I just can't remember the author's name at the moment!. I couldn't put the book down it was that good!. It is about a friendship between two men who are deaf!. They were just friends!. There are other character's in the book that are interesting to read about as well!. The writer's first name is Carson!. The writer is a woman!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Agree with Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Maltese Falcon!. Actually any of the dectective stories from this era are good!. I also liked Cheaper by the Dozen and Belles on their Toes when I was younger, which I think were set in the 1920's!. I don't know how you feel about true crime, but In Cold Blood by Capote is also very good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
