Question: Don't you hate this about books!?
Like when the books overtime gain wrinkles, or if you get water damage on them!? What do you usually do!? I know never judge a book by its cover, but still this is annoying!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh my gosh! I know!!!!

I have this bookshelf of books (duh) and some of my books are really old, and others have water damage from dropping them in puddles on a rainy day (!.!.!.) But yeah!. It bugs me so much!.

Well I have to agree that water damage is the worst!.

If I get water on a book and I can do something about it right away, I take paper towels and get them between the pages in order to soak up the moisture and stop the pages from sticking together!. You can also clean your book with a damp soft cloth if it gets icky stuff on the cover, binding, etc!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I actually like when that happens, because it gives the book character, as unique as some of the characters that lay within your cover, plus, it shows people that you actually read them instead of just having them live on the shelf!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

lol I know what you mean!. If your in high school you could take the book to your librarian at school and they'll rebind the cover if your having problems with the cover!. As for the wet pages I don't know much that can be done about that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i just leave it there, like i have this franklin the turtle book from first grade and i dropped siomething blue liquid thingy on it and now it is still blue but yeah it dos smel bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If I like the book enough, I would keep it regardless of what it looks like!. I might buy a new copy, but I would still keep the old one for sentimental value!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like it!.!.!. it gives them character, and tells even more stories than what's printed in them!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes and then they start to smell really weird too!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
