Question: Does anyone know the author Eric Bennet!? 1909 - !?

I have Penguin no!.497 published 1945 but cannot find any others by him!. One copy of this title is listed on eBay in mint condition at more than ￡200!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Murder at the Admiralty seems to be the only known Fiction by this author!. And yes, the prices are right; with dealers asking about ￡190 for very good copies!.

Listed as Eric (Oswald) Bennet, he also appears to have contributed the non-fiction piece "The Hell-Fire Monks of Medmenham" to a 1937 anthology called "Fifty Strangest Stories Ever Told" which was published by Odhams in London!.

I cannot find a date of death anywhere, so it is possible that he is 99 years old right now!.
