A question for all of you in Junior High and High School?

Question: A question for all of you in Junior High and High School!?

What is your level of familiarity with The Great Gatsby!? Did you read it in an English class, if you did, which year (freshmen, sophomore, etc, not the actual year)!?
I am not asking whether you liked it or not, I merely want to know how familiar the average teenager is with the story!.

i read it last year, in AP english 3 (junior year)
pretty much everybody in my area has read it or will end up reading it

and whats up with all these "never heard of it" people!? its commonly listed as the most enjoyed and favorite book of the american population, especially in high school!.!.!.!.thats just sad how few people seem to know about classic literatureWww@QuestionHome@Com

I read it sophomore year in high school!. I'm positive that the "fourth former" that hasn't heard of it is not from the USA (here we don't call class years "forms")!. I'm not surprised non Americans haven't heard of it because F!. Scott Fitzgerald is a popuar American writer!. As for the rest, I have no clue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

and I'm probably gonna have to read it for
my AP English class in Grade 10-12!.

I read it my junior year of high school!. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, the juniors read that book (it was at the very least a required part of the honors curriculum)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read "The Great Gatsby" in my junior year English class, and I am familiar with it!. It is one of the worst books I've ever read!. I never plan on rereading it in this lifetime!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
