Question: I need some creative people to help me make a story!!?!!?!!?
Okay, so at school I need to write a "show not tell" story!.
If you do not know what that is it is !.!.!. like!.!.!. for example:
Stewart failed his test!. He also does not know how to tie his shoes!.
So you get the idea that Stewart is stupid!. But, I am not telling you he is stupid I am just "showing" you!.
So in my "show not tell" story I have to show the traits:
Tall and Cool!.
So far I am thinking in my story to show that my character is tall he is going to be on a high school basketball team!.
I don't know what I should "show" to make him cool!. That is where I need your creative minds to help me!!!
So, my question is how do I make a character cool!? What should I do to make him cool!?

I suggest limiting the dialogue of your character!. A man of few words and lots of action is cool regardless of the year!. Use narrative to describe how people react and perhaps gravitate to him!. For example, lets say his name is Ted!.
It is easy to find Ted in the school parking lot, look for a group of kids and he is always in the center!.

you can show the character is cool by the way he acts and by the reactions of people around him!.!.!.!.!.do people strive for his attention!? Do stupid cheerleaders trip overthemselves to talk to him!? how does he treat other people!? Is he one of those guys who only buy brand name clothes (gag)!? how does he talk, walk!? think of those types of things when you write the story!.!.!.!.

The point in making a creative story is to express YOUR creativeness!. NOT ours!. So go write what you think is best!. Go express your creativity!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

here's the answer i gave to the question "how can i be cool"
cool is not in your clothing style
it is not in the type of cell phone you have
or your car or hair or your job or who you hang out with!.
'cool' is really just being ok with who you are
regardless of what anyone else thinks!.
(think about it, you're the one who has to live your life,
only you are the one qualified to judge your choices!.)
but if you want to be totally arctic, the ultracool
you need confidence
and you need to care about others!.
(it also helps if you're not a complete idiot, but it isn't required!.)
don't be afraid of being wrong
when you are wrong, learn from it!.
express your concern for others
help everyone you can
tell a joke once in a while, even a bad one!.
live consciously
