Question: Why the freaking heck did someone have to go and ruin the twilight series!?
I can't believe it but I just saw on the news and on yahoo that there was a leak on the internet for Meyer's new book midnight sun!.
Is this completely true!?
And I quote Meyer "the book has been put on hold indefinitely!."
Can you seriously believe this! - I am kind of thinking it is a scam
But who would have the nerve to do something like this and why isn't Meyer going to brush it off and keep moving forward!?

Yes, the leak is true!. Stephenie send out bound, incomplete versions of Midnight Sun to her family, close friends, Robert Pattinson (because he needed it to really know Edward in the movie), etc!. However, one of them accidentally leaked it somewhere, somehow!. Stephenie knows who did it, because each version of Midnight Sun that she sent to everyone was a little bit different due to her making some editing changes!. However, she does not believe it was meant to be 'malicious', so she does not want to punish this person!.
It was first revealed on Yahoo Answers, and then the Dark Side website, and then from there it circulated to many places!. Finally, Stephenie just went ahead and posted it on her website so her fans wouldn't feel bad about reading the leaked version!.
Yep, book put on hold indefinitely!. She says she feels too bad to continue writing it!. I am a writer, and I understand how tough this is on her!. If I allowed anyone, and i mean ANYONE to read my unedited version of my book, I would be very ashamed and embarrassed!. However, now SO many people have read it!. I'm sure she feels betrayed and very depressed about the whole situation!.
On the opposite side, I think it is also wrong of her to be so mopey!. She should be thinking of the loyal fans who have been waiting so long for this book!. (I am not one of them, but I identify with them!.) So many of them, like yourself, feel as if she is punishing all of you for the mistake of a few individuals!. If I were her, I would stop moping and get writing!.
She says that her work would turn out too sad!. THAT IS WHAT SECOND DRAFTS ARE FOR!. A first draft in writing is when you write a rough copy!. Second drafts are when you change around the words to make them more happy, or more sad!.!.!.basically, more expressive!. Finally, you do lots of editing!.
also -- it is partially her fault her book was leaked!. Stephenie should have realized that her book would probably be leaked because 1) it is in such high demand, and 2) she gave it out herself!. She should have kept it private and not shown a single soul!.

I totally think that she should keep moving forward! I found out from her website, where she posted the first 12 chapters of it and it is brilliant, of course, but she absolutely HAS to finish it !. !. !. It's driving me crazy! I know *sounds like an obsessed fan girl* but her books are really great and I don't think that she should abandon Edward's side !. !. !. especially because she was just getting to the best part !. !. !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It sounds to me that Stephenie Meyer is really being a big baby! It's her own fault! She gave copies of her book out to people that she trusted, and they stabbed her in the back! She should only blame herself if you ask me! I bet she will punish her fans because not a lot of people liked Breaking Dawn!.!.!.in fact quite a few people hated it!. But that doesn't mean you can just drop a book your ALMOST done with! Come on Stephenie get a back bone and move on, don't let it hold you back!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Yea unfortunately that happened!. Some how it leaked out and she posted the chapters( from Midnight sun) up for her fans!.!.!.!.

i think what will happen is that if she ever writes it she will just put it on the internet on her site but that may take awhile!.!.!.
