Question: Do you think this is a good children's story!? Do you think It's worth publishing!?
What Color is the Rainbow

Bobby Bear, Tina Turtle and Rachel Raccoon were all friends in the Nestwood Forest of Bakerslay Township!. On a hot summer day as they were all playing and skipping rocks across the clear water of the rocky creek, the clouds began to roll in!.
“Oh no”, Tina said in disappointment “It’s going to rain!.
“It sure is,” said Bobby Bear!.
“We’d better get going before the rain starts!. Mama just took me to the beauty parlor and I can’t ruin my hair!.”
“Don’t let a little rain spoil the fun!. We can go in that huge cave over there!. We won’t get wet then!.”
Just as Bobby Bear mentioned the cave, the rain began to pour down!. One, two, three they all went!. They all headed for the cave!. Safe and sound Rachel Raccoon noticed how drenched she was from the rain and how it ruined her hair!.
“Mama’s gonna be upset at me, look at me, my hair is ruined!.”
“Looks like we’ll be in her for awhile” Bobby Bear added!.
“Don’t worry about your hair Rachel Raccoon and Bobby Bear we won’t be in her long if we find something fun to do!. All we have to do is take our minds off of the rain!.”
“How are we supposed to do that!?” Rachel Raccoon asked!.
“I’ve got an idea, let’s come up with as many colors of the rainbow that there are!. Just name a color one by one but you can’t repeat the color, if you do, you’re out!.”
“Okay sounds like fun but I thought there was only one color!. When the sun shines down on the rainbow it just looks blue to me!.”
“One color, no way!. There are as many colors of the rainbow that you want them to be!. Go ahead Rachel Raccoon name a color!.
Bobby Bear, Tina Turtle and Rachel Raccoon had fun playing the rainbow color game!. They had so much fun they forgot about the rain!.
“Look, the rain stopped and the sun is out again!.” Bobby Bear said excitedly!.
“Let’s go out and find the rainbow!.” Rachel Raccoon said!.
“Up there, we found it, how many colors do you see, count them!.”

Pink, blue, purple, green, orange, and yellow

(at the very end, when they name off the colors I plan on putting a rainbow in the book of the different colors that I have in the last line of the story)

Nice story! Line 2: you don't need "of Bakerslay Township" young ones may not understand!. Anyway let the reader think that it is where they want it!. Line 17: Is confusing, Who is speaking!? Is it Tina!? If so in line 18 after "find something fun to do" insert "said Tina"!.
Line 21 If the above is true "I've got an idea suggested Tina, lets come upWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think it sounds good and children's books are extremely popular so i think this is just the sort of thing that would be!. I think you should defiantly write to some publishers, if your not successful then adleast you tried but i think you migth be as it sounds good and it's definitely worth a try!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
