Question: Don't you wish vampire authors would number their books!?
Ok so i read alot of vampire/witch/werewolf books!.!.!. and i'm catching up on a year of being too skint to indulge and it's impossible to figure out which i should be buying because the names always seem to start with undead with maryjanice and dead with charlaine harris!. Why can't they just number their books and make it simple for me!? how hard would it be!?

I totally agree! With the twilight series, because i only learnt about them on here, i had to research on the internet to see what order they came in, and its the same for alot of other books in series!. It can get really confusing, i've bought books in the past, not realising they are the second installment of a seroes because it simply hasnt stated that, and then you end up missing the start of the story!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have several options:

1!. Check if the author has a website!.
2!. Check in Amazon or any other major online bookseller!.
3!. Bookmark fantastic fiction's website (one website for the vast majority of authors): http://www!.fantasticfiction!.co!.uk/
4!. Google the author's name!.

My review site includes the number of the book within a series whenever we publish a review of a book belonging to a series!. You are not alone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think books should have a title like "New Moon", and then a side title that says something like, "Twlight series book #2" or something!. That way you have a well chosen title, but also the book series that it's in, and the book number that it is in that series!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I ran into the same problem with Charlaine Harris and a few other series, so I see where you're coming from!. I always check amazon, or if that fails, check the author's web site!. That always works for me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree!. I don't know why they do that!. However, if you look at publication dates, you may be able to figure out the order!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think most people prefer books to have titles, not just numbers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
