Question: In Harry Potter, it seems that!?
Narcissa Malfoy was very very protective of her son, Draco!.
If someone had saved Draco from something (for instance someone was going to put the death unforgivable curse on him and they pulled him out of the way or something), how do you imagine Narcissa reponding to that!? How do you think she would be towards that person!? And what if, that person was a member of the order of the pheniox!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah! I was surprised when it said she was sooo concerned about him, I thought his parents would be cold-hearted towards him too!. I found myself wondering if they were so gung-ho towards Voldemort when they were younger but not so much when they got older and would rather he not have re-appeared at all once they saw that the world had progressed over the previous years but Voldemort was still stuck in the past!. I think she would be grudgingly grateful towards whoever saved Draco no matter what group they were in!. I doubt she would have publicly stated her gratitude if they were, say, "Mudbloods" or "blood traitors" but I think she would have been easier on them than otherwise!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry saved Draco and Narcissa saved Harry's life because of that!. Harry was lying face down and pretending to be dead, surrounded by death eaters, giants, and Voldemort himself and Narcissa chose to lie to protect Harry just because Harry told her Draco was alive!.

I think Narcissa only cares about Draco!. She's not obsessed with Voldemort's crazy "kill all the mudbloods" regime!. She only wants what's best for her son!. I think she would even let Lucius die to save Draco!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nothing can get in a way of the instinct of a mother!. Narcissa was a mother first, and just then a death eater!. And she, like other mothers, would do anything to protect his son!. And she would have given anything to someone who saved her son!. She practically betrayed Voldy because Harry SAID that Draco was alive!. If she actually SAW someone saving Draco, she would, I don't know, worship the ground that the saver walks on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you mean Snape!? In whatever case, I think she'd worship the ground they walk on!. The Malfoys don't seem to be that bad, given the comparison between them and other DE!. Say, Bellatrix!. Afterall, Narcissa let Harry live, and didn't they stay with everyone in the Great Hall after the Battle!? I wish JK would have told us more about them in the Epilogue than Draco's two second appearance with his son!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Narcissa Malfoy's love for her son Draco seems to be her only redeeming feature!. She would probably feel gratitude towards someone who saved Draco, but I can't imagine her showing any real warmth towards anyone other than her son!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well Harry saved Draco basically, more than once!. I imagine Narcissa would be very grateful to the person who saved Draco like she was with Harry!. She saved Harry because Harry saved Draco!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think she would be because in book 7 when Voldemort thought that he had killed Harry Narcissa said that he was dead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
