Question: Robert Langdon & Vittoria or Sophie!?

I'm confused!. I read 'The Da Vinci Code' before 'Angels and Demons' and it clearly mentions Vittoria at the beginning and it almost implies that Robert was in love with her but for some reason they couldn't be together!? I thought 'Angels and Demons' would hold the answer but it finishes with the two of them in bed!? I'm just very very confused!.!.!.

Why didn't Langdon and Vittoria's relationship work and is he now with Sophie!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

In angels and demons they just had sex!. (yoga master haha)
its fiction so in the next book if he was like i have to be home with my wife vittoria then the book would be boring!. langdon has to hook up with sophie to make it interesting!.

i guess the realtionship didn't work out!. maybe he couldn't keep up with vittoria's apetite!. but a story is a story and they have to make it interesting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
