Please, if you have any ideas that would be helpful, I am open to suggestions, because writing about something I like isn't taking me far right now!. So please help!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: depends on what topic you like!. here are some different ideas sci-fi: a man find out the cure for cancer, but someone is trying to kill him to get the cure so he can get the credit instead Fantasy: a girl finds a small glittering object on the ground, thinks it is a diamond but really it's a star sports: a whimpy little kid wants to try out for the football team, but everyone taunts him, saying it's impossible Mystery: someone is sabatoging every aspect of a kid's life (ruining their homework, destroying their stuff, etc!.) and no one knows who Romance: guy falls in love with girl, but girl is total opposite of guy and on top of that, girl thinks guy has some mental problem, when he doesn't, just had dyslexia!. i know i probably left a few genres out, so sorry about that! but i hoped this helped a lot!Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, love stories are always easy to write and you could have fun with it, putting it in an original setting such as Nazi occupied France, with a Nazi soldier falling in love with a local girl (just an example)!. Maybe you could write a story based on a weird dream you had!? I once got top marks for writing a story about being sectioned even though I knew I wasn't crazy and how I kept trying to get out!. It was based on a nightmare I had, so the descriptions were very vivid and quite frightening (like rough, itchy blankets and yellowing wallpaper)!. Reading it back just gave me the creeps!. I always find the scariest stories are not based on ghosts or vampires but on the unknown situations that exist in this world which people fear!. If you don't want to invent a ton of characters, how about writing a monologue with one person telling a story, letting the reader get inside their mind deeper, say a murderer or a rapist telling the reader what he had done and what was going on inside his head!. Try to be original and you will end up with a great story!
