I have a cousin who is a great writer!. at present, he is writing a novel about "Cyrus The Great" (Cyrus II, King of Iran) someday, he said a sentence about writing that helps me so much!. He said: If u want to verse, you must don't speak for one or two months, But if u want to write a story, you must be away from speaking for 3 or 4 years! I guess he meant, you can write only when u have so much UNSAID words in your heart by the way, thanks for introducing this website and I hope I could help uWww@QuestionHome@Com No one can really tell you ideas about a story-a story for the most part should just come to you-if you try to force it-it won't come!. But people can give ideas about how to be inspired!. I usually am interested in character more then plot!. I do not worry about plot because if I get the character down-then the plot comes to me!. I like to observe people-whether it's in class, public settings, or even in my own family!. Ex: go to a church and ask questions when you observe people-why does that woman pay more attention to the woman next to her then to what the pastor is saying!? Just any little detail that catch your interest and work with that!. You can also do this with situations if you are more into plot then characters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Try taking an incident that you know - from your life or your family's - and fictionalizing it!. If you give the people different names, change the boys to girls and vice versa, you can usually weave a tale that has some truth and some fabrication!. And yes, it becomes fiction at that point!. You can even make the people into fantasy characters and build a brand new world around them!Www@QuestionHome@Com how about a political romance thriller featuring john mccain, carol shepp and cindy whatshername (lol) You can make it like a drama or something and then it ends in the present!.!.!.john jumps down a bridge and dies!.
