"Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" has almost nothign to do with Zen but if your interest leads you towards ZEN then that book could do nothing short of change the entire way you see!. my first copy has notes in every conceivables place that words are not already written - on many pages you can actually read between the lines because there are other words written in the only space left - after the electrifying first read - i had no choice but to study it the force of the passion it awoke in my universal understanding made me!.
The book can be downloaded Free of charge the legality of such downloads is a secondary consideraton to the quality of the book!. someone is always willing to pass it, in same way as tibetan living in china might pass a picture of the dalai lama, with prosecution being a secondary condsideration
