Question: Of Mice and Men!. Help me, PLEASE !! 10 points !!!?

Okay I have to read of mice and men for my summer reading by friday!. (Im very last minute) Im only on page 15 and cant seem to get focussed!. I just want a breif overview of what the book is about!. (Dont call me lazy because i am going to read the book, I have to if I want good grades!. But it would be asier to read if I knew what was going to happen!. Right now I have no clue whats going on)

I also find that if I cannot understand/focus the text i try to read a chapter of the book and then its chapter in cliffnotes/sparknotes to help me get a full understanding of what I just tried to read!.
