Question: Fixing a once wet book!?
I just got the last book in the amazing Twilight Saga! My mistake I brought it in the bathtub!. After I dropped it in the tub I laid it down and dried it with a hairdryer, but now some of the pages are curly! Is there any way of fixing this!? I already tried my flat iron, but that did not help!. Help would be great!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Or you could wrap the book in wax paper tightly and lay it is the freezer compartment to the freezer and keep it pressured down with a brick so the book can keep it's shape, then when you feel it is ready you can thaw out the book and releave the pages by putting paper towels inbetween the pages!. If you are not able to get ride of all the wet ness get the book wrapped and back in the freezer as soon a possible because mold could develope in a 24 hour period!. Once you releive the excess water stand the book up on end and allow a fan to lightly blow throughout the book pages!. When it is dry lay it down and put pressure on it, if you see mold remove it with an alcohol swab!.

I hope it helps !Www@QuestionHome@Com

lol- a flat iron!. that's a pretty creative idea!. [:
i don't think there is anyway to fix it besides letting the book sit closed with the pages flat!. maybe put some pressure on top of it!.
that might help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sorry but fixing a book that gets wet correctly costs more than a new book!. You have to freeze dry it and press it out!. I would just buy a new one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

replace it!. its damaged!Www@QuestionHome@Com
