I thought that this piece was very, very well written!. It was fun, up-beat but not too lyrical, and quite catchy!.

Yes, indeed it was!. It made me think of how very judgemental we all can be about someone's first impression of themselves!.

"What meaning did it convey to you - as in what was, in your opinion, the debate about!?"

I believe that it speaks strongly of how we all second-guess or doubt who we are and who we were made to be!. We all feel like shadows that are some times unrecognizable and easily misinterpreted-yet we are all here for the world to see!.

Profound metaphors!.
And they will argue for a long time more, because the philosopher cannot prove that he is a tree, and not a shadow, until the tree decides it himself!. Good metaphors for different things in reality!.
