Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: 2 notable authors I can think of were 14 when they were published Atwater-Rhodes (Forests of the Night) and Paolini (Eragon)!. According to the Guinness Book of World Records (ya I'm geeky enough to own it) the youngest published novel author is Christopher Beale who was 6 years old when this work ""This and Last Season's Excursions" was published in Scotland in 2006!. His father (Theodore Beale) is an author but from there I can't find much other information (due to broken links on his webite cbeale!.com)!. The yougest US author was a poet named Mattie Stepanek who first published at the age of 8!. He died when he was 13!.
