okay, at the end of Breaking Dawn (dont read this if you havent read it!!!)

okay, on page 750, edward says that jacob will have competition with renesmee, and bella assumes hes talking about nahuel, but edward says that no its not nahuel
so whos jacobs competition!? did i miss something!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just got done reading that book lke 3 minutes ago and i came upon the same question!. But i assume that he meant that jacob has a competition with Bella because they both love Renesmee so much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's true, it was BELLA who thought that Jacob would have the competition!. Edward, who read Nahuel's thoughts was actually staring at Bella, who was holding Nessie, and Nahuel was glad to think that he maybe wasn't a murderer, as he always blamed himself for his mother's death!. He wished his "father" had loved his mother to do the same as Edward had for Bella in order for her to survive!. :o)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure what exactly Stephenie meant either!. Edward goes on to explain that Nahuel doesn't like Renesmee like that, but that he was staring at Bella!. He was staring at Bella because he was jealous that Bella survived and that Renesmee has a happy family!. Meaning that Renesmee has a mother and father who are alive and love her!. I'm not sure how any of that relates to Jacob directly, because Nahuel wasn't staring at Renesmee!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

no, bella thought nahuel would be competition for reneesme in the future because she thought he was staring a reneesme, but edward clarified, because nahuel was starring at bella, because of how he, being a vamp/human, and killing his mother at birth and he was just basically astonished at how bella was still alive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
