It was called "The Vampire Armand" by Anne Rice!. The first page was very well-written, and beautiful even, but then all of a sudden there was all this gay mansex going on and I was like, "Whooooaaaaa!!!" and I returned it to the library as soon as possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Earthsea Trilogy series thing!.
That was the first - and only book I have ever fallen asleep to in my lifetime!. I made it to chapter 6 after about 7 months and then I just had to stop it there!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was the typical slime monster that attacked people!. But this one attacked a drug addict, got addicted and slimed people for its "fix!."

Sort of an anti-hero crime fighter!.
