I read the book about a thousand years ago so it isn't real clear in my memory, but here is what I do remember:

It's set in the future when people are selectively bred!. I believe there were four categories, with the Alphas being the ones who ran things, and the Deltas being the servant class, the ones who did all the work, like being maids and janitors, etc!.

They took a drug called Soma which seemed to be some kind of relaxer/stimulator simultaneously!.

They had a calendar that was based on their group called "Ford" and would say things like "In the year of our Ford!."

I really don't remember much more than that about it but I do remember that I enjoyed it very much!. I recommend you read it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a really interesting book - a great commentary on indoctrination and freedom of expression!. There are shades of Shakespearean influence!. Its interesting to ask how into eugenics was Huxley, himself!?
It's not a hard read - you should read it, get lost in a good book and then maybe you won't be so bored!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
