I read it!. I'm a guy!. But, I didn't like it!. I know that me not liking it contradicts your question but I just didn't enjoy it!. Everything about it was just bad!. The writing style was poor, the characters were not believable, the plot lines were pathetic, and human-vampire hybrid children really brought it down upon itself!. The gigantic onslaught of Edward-obsessed girls didn't help the book either!. I suppose now that Meyer has sorta "upped the bar" for boyfriends now all that remains is for some guy to write a story about the perfect girl so then us guys can show the girls how ridiculous it is to base your standards of a fictional character!.

Anyway, about those other books I like!. I like Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Airborn and Skybreaker, Inkworld Trilogy, Peter and the Starcatchers and it's sequels, The Wind on Fire Trilogy, and the list goes on and on!.

My best friend (who is a guy) likes Twilight!. He's really femmy though-- he acts more like a girl than I do (and I'm a girl!)!. He loves shopping, malls, musicals, chick flicks, etc!. I love the boy, but he's much more girly than any other boy I've ever met!.

Twilight and Harry Potter are the only books he's ever read outside of English class!.

Personally I think it's ridiculous for boys to actually *like* Twilight!. That's an immediate turn off to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Guys reading Twilight is not a turn off, its people who say things like that that make guys feel the need to be all big and bad, its a good book and eveyone should read it!.
