Question: Question about fragments!.!.!.!.!?
I'm writing a novel, but the writing is really deep!. Is it okay to have a lot of fragments in your book to add suspense!?

For example:

"She grabbed my hand!. Hard!. There was no stopping her!."

"Hard" is not a sentence but it adds suspense to the story, right!?

Here's another one:

"That also held onto me!. If you believe!. I did believe!."

Like, "If you believe" is not a sentence but it adds suspense to the story when it is a sentence!. Right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, it's fine!. It's often used to add suspense, like you said!. It can add tension, fear, any really strong emotion really, and if you can use them well, then they can be incredibly effective!. I try and use them, but I can't comment on the success I have with them! So if you want to add strong emotion, I recommend using them!. Good luck with the novel, and well done for having the dedication to attempt one!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yah, they do that in the Pretty Little Liars series and Twilight, so i think it's okay :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
