Hon!.!.!. The man was obsessed with being buried alive and his work reflected that over and over again!. He was a dark artistic genius and his writing was his creative out let!. He worked through his fear and obsession through it!. Unfortunately I believe that his fear finally became too much for him as does happen sometimes for these types!. I love his writings!.!.!. he was a pioneer in his genre!.

Controversial!? More so in his own time rather than now!. He was years ahead of others of his time!. I think that many in his own era thought of his writings as intellectual ramblings of a mad man!.
