I really liked Twilight, mainly because I'm fascinated by vampires!. Books I'd suggest would be:

- The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause!. It follows the story of Zoe, a teen whose mom is dying, and Simon, a vampire who is trying to kill his maker!. They become involved, slowly, and it's actually very sweet in the way they look out for each other!.
- The Darkangel Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce!. A little more sci-fi oriented than straight fantasy, I think, but it's excellent!. They're some of my favorite books!. Aerial is charged with the task of killing a darkangel (re: vampire) and then helping vanquish his brothers!.
- The Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles are always there, and I used to adore them, but the later books (especially the last couple UGH) turned bad IMO, and they are a bit more sensual/sexual than Twilight!. I enjoyed when the vampires talked more about their lives in the past before they were made, and reading such intimate details about New Orleans is great!.
- There's always Dracula!

For a while at Barnes'n'Noble there was a display of books to read "if you like Twilight," so you could try that too!. Sorry, I love books and vampires, I tend to get wordy!Www@QuestionHome@Com
