Charlotte sees that both Mr Darcy and his cousin admire Elizabeth!. -While the Colonel is very openly, Mr Darcy is relatively quiet!. She thinks it will be a good thing if Lizzy could marry the Colonel but still better if she marries Mr Darcy!.

-Elizabeth had set her hearts on going to the Lakes with the Gardiners but these plans are changed last minute!. There is a delay in the start of the journey and it has to be shortened too, both because of Mr Gardiner's business!. As such they can go no further than Derbyshire!.
