Do you understand imprinting!? Imprinting is pretty much meaning that the person, the imprint-ee, is the center of their universe, their reason for living!. All they want to do is make the person happy and safe!. Sometimes, depending on how old the person is or their maturity, it begins as a romantic feeling!. If they are very young, like Claire or Renesmee, it begins as the big brother feeling, the feeling of always wanting to protect them!. It later evolves into best friend, and eventually, romance!.

What happened with Jacob was that he always felt the pull to Bella, but it wasn't quite imprinting!. When Renesmee was gone, the pull to Bella was, too!. He still loved her as a best friend, of course, but he wasn't as in love!. She wasn't his life!. He saw Renesmee and imprinted!. For now, he'll be her best friend, her companion!. Later on, I suppose they'll fall for each other and get married, when she's matured(for Renesmee, that means about 6 or 7)!.

He imprinted on Renesme, the daughter of Edward and Bella!. The only thing it means is that she's his soul mate basically!. He's like her protector and she also protects him!. It doesn't have to mean anything romantic!. Jacob is basically like her big brother, but maybe when she grows up they might fall in love!. Jacob isn't aging so they will be the same age some day!. ok!. so, imprinting is when one of the wolves sees a girl and they immediately are attached- nothing else in the world matters anymore!. they want to protect this person and would do anything for them!. they want what's best for them!. so, basically, jake will be there for renesmee!. she's the reason for his existence!. he will do anything for her and will always love her!.!.!. in the way that is best for her!. so, when she grows up, they will eventually become a couple, like sam and emily!. their relationship now is basically like quil's relationship with claire!. the book explains it better than me!.!.!. page 176!. after jacob tells bella about quil imprinting!. well in eclipse its kinda explained what imprinting is!. it just means that he is tied to nessie in a true love sort of way!. right now he just wants her to be as happy as she can be like her older brother but when she gets older then he will pursue a romantic relationship with her!. its kinda like how quil is witht claireWww@QuestionHome@Com
