For your age I'd go with!.!.!.

The Call of the Wild, by Jack London:
It's about a St!. Bernard Scotch Shepherd living the high life with a family when he's sold by one the family's hands for gambling money!. He's taken to the the harsh cold regions of Alaskan/ Canadian territory, where he's turned into a snow dog!. He fights to survive and eventually becomes the best!. He gains/loses comrades and ultimately finds his place in life!.

The House of the Scorpion, by Nancy Farmer:
This used to be one of my favorite books (before I got into high school and it got too easy for me)!. It's about Mathias, a boy who's raised in isolation for years!. Then, suddenly, he's taken out of isolation and brought to a rich man's house, where he finds out he was a clone of the owner!. The owner spends his riches on the boy so he can watch him grow in an environment he couldn't, and Mathias thinks everything is all right!. But things take a dark turn for the worst when his true purpous of existence is revealed!. (For the record, if the clone thing throws you, you should ignore it!. This book one multiple awards)!.

Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls:
It's about a boy out in the country, who loves dogs and wants some hunting dogs!. That's when he got Old Dan and Little Ann!. Together they make it through many obstacles and become some of the best!. It's an overall touching story that will leave you happy, sad, and many other feelings!.

Well that's three, and I hope that's enough!. I highly recommend all three, and hope you enjoy them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
