i read some of it last year!. a novel (dictionary!.com definition) is -a fictitious prose narrative of considerable length and complexity, portraying characters and usually presenting a sequential organization of action and scenes!. so it's not a novel, and obviously it's a book but i think there's another word for that kind of book, but i can't think of it at the moment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The book Fast Food Nation is a non-fiction book by Eric Schlosser & I have to say it is one of the most genuinely scary books I've ever read!.

The film is fiction based on the novel!.
