I hadnt read any of her books until after she paid a visit to my local book-shop one evening!.
I went along out of curiosity to hear what she had to say, and when she admitted to crying herself when she killed off one of her characters I decided to give the dragon books a whirl!.
That was nearly 20 yrs ago now and I read them again and again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its pretty good!.

It starts out "in medias res", so it may take you a while to understand what's going on!.

I read a bunch of them, but couldn't keep up with all the sequels, there are more than a dozen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love the Pern books, they are the kind you can read over and over again!.
