Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Alvaro Mutis: "The Adventures and Misadventures of Maqroll!."

This mostly unknown book, except that it is known, loved, and respected mostly by readers of serious fiction, is one of the best I have ever read!. It's the epic story of the lifetime of El Gaviero, the Watchman, a man of many careers, travels, and friends!.
also
The Street lawyer" by John Grishom or anything by him!.
The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy!.
ENDER'S GAME, by Orson Scott Card!.
Stephen King’s…The Stand, Needful Things also, Our Man in Havana are really good!.
Books by Ken Follett include:
A Dangerous Fortune
Eye of the Needle
World Without End
A Place Called Freedom
Jackdaws
The Key to Rebecca
!. !. !. and many others; he is quite the writer!
`
Other authors to explore:
Tom Clancy
Robert Ludlam
Alex Kava
Chris Bohjalian
Sarah Dunant
Kate Morton
Lawrence Goldstone
Ian Mcewan

"Running With Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs is a very, very good book!.
It's a memoir, but it's written more like a novel!. The story is absolutely delicious, and the style of writing is extremely witty and clever!.
I read the entire thing in one day because I couldn't put it down!. <33
